North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium Ltd is seeking bids for a Framework Agreement to provide Minor Works Services for university projects, each valued up to £1 million excluding VAT. This initiative is tailored for the NE5 group of universities in the North-East of England.

Participants

The NE5 consortium includes Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland, and Teesside Universities along with their subsidiaries, some of which are outside the North-East.

Scope of Work

The framework covers refurbishments and improvements across a range of university facilities, including laboratories, lecture theatres, libraries, cafés, offices, and more.

• Estimated Value: £40 million

• Contract Duration: Two years initially, with the possibility of extending to four years, contingent on performance.
